Our most needed items are digital still cameras and digital video cameras so PIEAT can document their work. This will help provide PIEAT with sustainable funding as they will be able to provide evidance of their work to the various Ministires in Managua.

  • Reference books in Spanish and activity books in Spanish.
  • Dictionaries; both Spanish/English and Spanish only
  • Classic literature translated into Spanish.

School Equipment
  • Storage units (plastic tubs)
  • Small lap whiteboards and markers

  • Educational games in English for ESL lessons

Medical Supplies
  • Ace bandages

Computers
  • We are seeking working laptop and conventional computers to be used in local Nicaraguan schools. They should be a minimum of PIII's, and LCD monitors are preferable to conventional tube monitors - used good working conditioned machines please. Please contact us for details.
Community & Family Needs
  • School Uniforms and shoes for primary and secondary school students:  White shirts, blue pants, shorts or skirts, and black shoes
  • Shoes for children, women and men, very few over size 10
  • Summer clothes, both casual and formal
  • Baby clothes, blankets and cloth diapers
  • Bed sheets and towels
  • Sports equipment
    • Baseball equipment -- remember baseball is the national sport of Nicaragua
    • Soccer is also very popular
    • Uniforms for community teams (15 for each team).
