Flor de María Martínez Aeevedo has 4 children, three boys and one girl. She has studied as a technician to treat malaria. She worked for 5 years with MINSA from 1985 – 1990. She has also assisted in the local preschool for 5 years. Currently she is a site coordinator of PIEAT and enjoys her work very much. Here she is teaching young children and families the importance of hand washing in the first center that PIEAT opened for infants and toddlers and other important preventative health measures. She believes PIEAT can make a difference not only for her family but for her community and her country.
